Silent.link: what it is and how to use it
Silent.link is a prepaid data eSIM service that accepts Bitcoin, Lightning, Monero and other cryptocurrencies, and declares "zero KYC", not even asking for an email. It helps you have a separate number for your crypto identity instead of using your main one.

How do you use Silent.link?
- Confirm your phone supports eSIM, and that there is coverage where you are.
- Open silent.link by typing the address and check on the official site what each plan includes, because these providers often change their offer, country and partners.
- If you need to receive verification codes, look at the plan that includes a +1 (US) number with incoming SMS for one year; it makes no voice calls and blocks outgoing SMS.
- Pay with Bitcoin, Lightning or Monero and install the eSIM on the device.
- Test first with a small, unimportant use before depending on it for any account.
- Use this number only in your crypto identity: never in another identity, since a single number across two identities links them.
What are the limits and cautions?
- Your phone must support eSIM, coverage varies by region, and the eSIM carrier can still see the device's approximate location. This weakens the link to your legal identity but does not make you invisible.
- The "zero KYC" claim comes from the service itself: check the official site for what the plan includes before relying on it.
- A number in your crypto identity is also an identifier. Never use SMS as a second factor on critical accounts, even with a separate number.
