How do you use BlueWallet?
- Download only from the official site bluewallet.io or the official store, checking the developer name.
- Create a new wallet (not restore), write the seed by hand and confirm the backup in the app.
- Test recovery by deleting the wallet and restoring only from the backup, with a small amount.
- Label your coins and use coin control to view and freeze UTXOs before spending.
- If you want, connect to your own node and enable the passphrase only after mastering the flow.
- Use the wallet for spending amounts; what matters stays on the hardware wallet.
What are the limits and cautions?
- The site's features page does not mention Tor or Silent Payments; if they matter to you, check in the app.
- It does not do CoinJoin; for more advanced privacy, the book points to other options.
